Meet Freddie Poo: The lonely boar looking for a forever home

A lonely boar has been held at the Deschutes County Rescue Ranch for a year, and the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) is hoping to find him a home.
His name is Freddie Poo, and while he doesn’t get along with other boars, he has shown interest in befriending other animals.
"Freddie’s personality, he’s a little bit shy at first. But with lots of treats and scratches, he will warm up to his new person pretty quickly," DCSO animal control technician Mariya Leufven said.
DCSO says it has been monitoring Freddie to ensure he remains healthy. It hopes to find Freddie finds a forever home that will give him lots of love.
