Portland State economics professor discusses possible impacts Trump’s tariffs could have on Oregon

Fears are growing over a trade war after President Trump announced tariffs on goods from Canada, Mexico, and China.
The tariffs are expected to take effect on Tuesday, Feb, 4.
Canada and Mexico have responded with retaliatory tariffs of their own.
ARC PDX talked with a professor of economics at Portland State University about the importance of trade and the impacts that we may feel from the tariffs.
