Person found dead in house fire overnight in Roseland neighborhood, Chicago police say

A person was found dead inside a home after a fire overnight in the Roseland neighborhood on the city’s South Side. According to Chicago police, CPD officers and Chicago Fire Department personnel responded to a residential fire just after midnight Sunday in the 300 block of West 110th Place. Police say further investigation revealed an unidentified body inside the home, and that person was pronounced dead at the scene.
