Bend Fire & Rescue quickly put out brush fire near 1st Street Rapids

Bend Fire & Rescue responded to a brush fire along the Deschutes River Wednesday evening. The fire was sparked just down stream of the 1st Street Rapids where smoke and flames were seen at the bottom of the cliff behind homes on NW Rivermist Drive.
