PSU study shows microplastics in Oregonians’ seafood

A new study from Portland State University found microplastics in nearly all seafood samples tested, including species like Chinook salmon, black rockfish, and lingcod. Out of 182 samples, 180 contained plastic particles, with filter-feeding species like shrimp having the highest concentrations.
