Hundreds of Millions in Tax Credits Available to Illinoisans

Sarah Saheb, Director of Economic Security Illinois (ESIL), appeared on the WGN 4pm News to talk about Child Tax Credit and the expansion of the Earned Income Tax in Illinois. The state of Illinois is participating in the IRS Direct File program. This will allow millions of eligible Illinoisans to file their taxes directly with the IRS, in a free and simplified system.
