Oregon House Bills ask for more aid for school districts impacted by 2020 wildfires

More than four years after the devastating 2020 wildfires, several Oregon school districts still need financial support as they rebuild. Two new house bills, 3165 and 3941, aim to provide both short-term and long-term aid to districts impacted by the blazes.

The fires that swept through the state over Labor Day weekend in 2020 left many small communities like Mill City in the Santiam Canyon in ruins.
