The Paul Hruby Ice Arena honors the Illinois Hockey Hall of Fame inductee its named after, but you don’t have to be a pro to lace up the skates and hit the ice.
The Hruby has a little something for everyone — learn-to-skate, figure and hockey skating classes, public skate sessions and competitive teams. Programs start for children as young as two, but one in particular proves it’s never too late to start something new.
