1 dead following 2-alarm apartment fire in Aloha

Firefighters battled a blaze at a three-story apartment complex in the 18000 block of SW Mapleoak Lane in Aloha on Saturday afternoon.
A Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue spokesperson has confirmed that one person had died after being pulled from the fire.
Hillsboro Fire and AMR are also assisted at the scene.
Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames on the first floor, with the fire extending to the second and third-floor balconies.
The Incident Commander upgraded the fire to a second alarm to bring in additional resources.
A fire investigator is on scene and will determine the cause.
