Homeless camps on China Hat Road to be displaced for wildfire prevention project

The Cabin Butte wildfire project will close areas near Bend starting May 1, displacing homeless individuals on China Hat Road. Crews will conduct prescribed burns and thinning to reduce wildfire risks.
