Huge aquifer discovered under Cascades

An aquifer discovered in the Cascades outside of Eugene has been found to have three times Lake Mead’s capacity, equating to around 20 cubic miles of water. Leif Karlstrom of the University of Oregon helped lead the team behind the study, which could have huge ramifications as water shortages and the impact of climate change are contemplated.
