NBC4 congratulates Craig Melvin as new TODAY Show co-anchor | NBC4 Washington

"This where it began!" News4’s Eun Yang said to Craig Melvin, the TODAY Show’s new co-anchor, on Monday morning. His NBC4 family surprised him with a special message of congratulations.

News4 alum Craig Melvin stepped into his new role after he was announced as Hoda Kotb’s replacement alongside News4 alum Savannah Guthrie.

He worked at NBC4 for three years where he met his wife, sports broadcaster Lindsay Czarniak.
