The beginning of the new year is a great time to focus on your health. And not only for yourself. For your pets, too! To highlight the importance of routine veterinarian checkups, Hawk, the certified facility dog at Lurie Children’s Hospital, dropped by the set on Sunday’s WGN Weekend Morning News. Hawk has a checkup scheduled with Dr. Erica Esser of West Loop Veterinary Care later this week. Natalie Sell, certified child life specialist at Lurie Children’s Hospital, also joined Esser and Hawk to talk with Jewell Hillery on the Weekend Morning News.
