Pasadena homeowners in Bend react to L.A. fires that have destroyed their communities

They may be nearly 900 miles away from the fires that are ravaging southern California, but for some Californians here in Bend, the flames still burn way too close to home. Now, they ask for some empathy toward transplants from the area, in a time of heartbreak while their communities burn.
