ICY CONDITIONS CAUSE TRACTOR TRAILER TO SLIDE ACROSS MULTIPLE LANESIN MISSOURI

Winter weather brought icy conditions to parts of the U.S. over the weekend, causing a tractor-trailer to slide across multiple lanes of traffic and jackknife on a busy highway in Missouri. The storm, which broke snowfall records in the Midwest, has now moved into the mid-Atlantic. While the heaviest snow is expected to taper off from Washington, D.C., to Baltimore by Monday, snow showers are forecast to persist into the evening.
