Enhanced security measures in place for certification of Trump’s Electoral College victory on Monday

Four years ago, a mob of President Trump’s supporters stormed Capitol Hill to stop Congress from counting electoral votes for Joe Biden. To prevent a repeat, the Secretary of Homeland Security declared Jan. 6 as a National Special Security Event, something that has never been done before.
