Officials, experts seek answers, prevention after New Orleans attack

The New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans is having reverberating effects across the country.
Former Portland State University sociology professor Randall Blazak said the goal of attacks like these is to make people afraid to congregate in public.
“I think New Orleans is in a panic right now because there are all these huge events coming up,” he said.
