The “5” in the 2025 sign arrives at Times Square to be hoisted into place to countdown the new year

On Thursday morning, the last piece of the giant “2025” sign that will be glowing at midnight on December 31 was hoisted into place in New York City.

The “5” had been at the Broadway Plaza since it arrived on December 18.

People were able to visit the numerals on the plaza until Christmas morning.

You can watch the numerals shine in all their glory on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” airing live on Tuesday, December 31 at 8 p.m. on KATU.
