‘Murder Hornet’ eradicated from U.S., officials remain cautious | FOX 13 Seattle

The Washington State Department of Agriculture and the United States Department of Agriculture announced the successful eradication of the northern giant hornet (previously known as a "murder hornet" or Asian giant hornet) from Washington state and the U.S.
After three years without confirmed detections, officials declared the invasive species eradicated on Wednesday.
