Driver killed in single-vehicle crash on Stevenson Expressway early Sunday morning, ISP says

One person died in a single-vehicle crash on the Stevenson Expressway early Sunday morning. According to Illinois State Police, troopers responded to the scene on northbound I-55 just before 3 a.m. after a Honda sedan had reportedly struck a pole on the ramp to Damen Avenue. The driver was taken to an area hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
