Sunday night Travis Bazzana made Beaver history, becoming the second Beaver to be drafted number 1 overall in the MLB draft. Oregon state becomes one of four schools to do so, as Adley Rutchman was the first pick in the 2019 draft. The Bend Elks got swept in Portland this weekend, but have 4 players headed to the Allstar game which will be aired on MLB Network. Jade Carey, OSU gymnast, received a round of applause Saturday as she head to prepare for the Olympics.
