The Assistance League of Bend is delivering gifts to seniors across Deschutes County.
More than 400 presents were delivered to 18 care facilities Tuesday. The facilities provide wish lists to the Assistance League from low-income residents who don’t have family nearby.
Staff then go out and buy hundreds of gifts.
“We are elated being able to make so many people happy by providing gifts that they wouldn’t normally receive during this time of year," Secret Santa Program Co-Chair Tamara Spain said.
The Assistance League of Bend has been hosting its Secret Santa Program for 20 years.
