Shop with a Cop (and The Grinch) hits Jefferson County

Shop with a Cop is offering gifts for the whole family in Jefferson County this year. 18 children were treated to a shopping trip with officers from the Sheriff’s Office, Madras Police and more.

The kids first picked out gifts for themselves and everyone at home before being taken out to lunch at McDonald’s.

Volunteers wrapped gifts and, when they returned, they got to take the presents home.

Santa and even the Grinch himself made an appearance.

Community members raised $17,000 this year, which allowed them to serve more children across Jefferson County, including in Culver.
