Partial mistrial in Downtown Portland road rage murder case

A jury was unable to make a unanimous decision in a road rage case that left one person dead, and another person injured.
Geoffrey Hammond shot Ryan Martin after a dispute over parking, then he shot a witness, Sam Gomez, who was recording the incident on his phone.
The jury decided on three guilty verdicts: unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm against Ryan Martin; assault in the first degree with a firearm against Sam Gomez, and unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm against Sam Gomez.
