Christmas magic fills McCormick Place during annual Christmas in the Wards event

Christmas magic filled McCormick Place on the city’s Near South Side on Saturday, and part of that was thanks to you! WGN viewers and sponsors donated over 20,000 toys to our 22nd annual WGN Morning News Drive-Thru Toy Drive on Dec. 6. Those toys were handed out as part of the 28th annual Christmas in the Wards event on Saturday at McCormick Place. WGN anchor and Political Reporter Tahman Bradley returned to emcee the event, and a host of city leaders were also on hand.
