Houses Around the NW: A historic home brought back to life
1 min read
Today I’m off to southeast Portland’s Mt Tabor to visit nationally registered historic landmark, the Wells-Guthrie House.
Designed in 1912 by noted Oregon architect Ellis F. Lawrence, the Guthrie house remained largely unaltered since the nineteen twenties. Now, new owners have brought in C&K Custom Remodeling to help breathe new life into the home, while tastefully preserving its historic charm. From the artful preservation of its original decorative finishes, to the whimsically woven modern touches, and unique flares all its own, this home is truly something to behold!
And thanks to the skilled work of C&K, the story of the historic Wells-Guthrie House just keeps unfolding!
So be sure to give Lloyd a call to learn more about what they can bring to your next remodel too: https://www.ckcustomremodeling.com/
