Suspect in Portland convenience store stabbing dies after arrest, investigation underway

A suspect in a stabbing incident died shortly after being arrested by Portland police officers on Wednesday night.
Portland Police Bureau officers were called to a report of a stabbing at a convenience store in the 1500 block of North Going Street at 10:05 p.m.
Upon arrival, the officers discovered a 19-year-old man who was wounded. He was taken to the hospital.
The suspect, a 43-year-old man, was found at North Interstate Avenue and North Humboldt Street.
