Multnomah County considers converting Portland Motel 6 into 65-room homeless shelter

Multnomah County is considering turning the Delta Park Motel 6 into an emergency homeless shelter.
According to county documents, the plan is to convert the motel located at 1125 N. Schmeer Road into a 65-room shelter through a new room-block agreement (RBA). The agreement would replace an existing RBA at the Palms Motel at 3801 N. Interstate Ave.
