Sergio Pino did not want to give estranged wife half his fortune, sparking murder-for-hire plot

The estranged wife of South Florida developer Sergio Pino wanted half of her husband’s fortune in their divorce and refused to settle for an offered $20 million, according to a criminal complaint for one of the nine people arrested in a murder-for-hire plot.
