NYC mayor, officials give update on UnitedHealthcare CEO murder suspect

New York City Mayor Eric Adams and other city officials held a press conference Monday to provide an update into the targeted murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.

A person of interest is being held in Altoona, Pennsylvania in connection to the New York City shooting.

Law enforcement sources said the man had a gun similar to the one used in the killing and a fake New Jersey ID. A witness told officials they recognized him from images online when he walked into a McDonald’s.
