Holiday joy for kids in hospice: Inside Dulles’s North Pole ‘fantasy flight’ | NBC4 Washington

Early Saturday morning, Dulles International Airport was buzzing with the excitement of nearly 100 kids and their families waiting to board a special flight to North Pole International.

Those kids, all patients with Children’s Hospice International in Alexandria, got some extra special holiday magic for free thanks to United Airlines, Dulles, and CHI. It’s part of a mission to give them some extra special memories, as they and their families deal with a heavier holiday season than most.
