Heat returns Friday & Saturday, but cooler weather and T’STORM chances return
1 min read
Holden LeCroy: High pressure builds into the weekend, but a significant cooldown expected into next week. Unfortunately, that cooldown comes with thunderstorm chances for Klamath and Lake Counties Saturday evening. By Sunday, monsoonal moisture producing the storm chances east will interact with a developing low pressure offshore. That interaction will bring down a cold front and lead to the possibility of drizzle and a few spotty showers on Sunday morning. Next week, northwest and onshore flow will dominate with regulated temperatures, highs in the 80s and the warmest spots being Douglas County at 90-degrees flat.
