Portland road deaths rise with 67 fatalities

Deaths on Portland roadways continue to rise. The Portland Police Bureau announcing on Wednesday, 67 people have died on Portland roads already in 2024, 25 of those were pedestrians.
Sgt. Ty Engstrom, with Portland Police’s Traffic Division, breaking down the numbers during a press conference on Wednesday saying "25 of those so far this year are pedestrian fatalities, 11 motorcycles and four bicycles, and bicycle number slightly higher than years past."
