St. Helens District, new acting Superintendent refuse questions at press event

St. Helens School District’s newly-appointed acting superintendent, Dr. Steve Webb, spent a portion of his first day on the job dodging questions from members of the media at a press conference.

District spokesperson Stacy Mendoza also refused to answer any questions.

After reading his statement, Webb walked out of the room as reporters from various print and broadcast outlets peppered him with questions.
