The Union County Sheriff’s Office says a plane had to make an emergency landing Saturday after experiencing a mechanical issue at 21,000 feet. Officials say the aircraft was traveling from Seattle to Texas when it landed on Indian Creek Road.
“Once the pilot checked the plane for damage and was confident of a safe takeoff, he took off, with assistance from the Union County Sheriff’s Office. The pilot then landed at the Union County Airport. The FAA and NTSB also cleared the aircraft to move,” UCSO said on Facebook.
