1 min read
On Wednesday night, Portland police executed a drug enforcement mission outside The Portland Clinic downtown. Officers arrested eight people, seized 64.5 grams of fentanyl, three guns, and $2,395 in cash. Police said two people qualified and accepted deflection and six were booked into jail.
Earlier this week, The Portland Clinic announced it was ending patient services at the downtown office on Southwest 13th Avenue because of crime and drugs in the area.
Business owners say in the evening, dozens of people gather outside the clinic and openly smoke fentanyl.
