Advocacy group calls for Cook County judge to be reassigned after two domestic violence deaths

After two instances of domestic violence turned fatal in the past year, a local advocacy group is pushing for Cook County Circuit Court Judge Thomas Nowinski to be re-assigned to a different division, alleging he "has a history of not recognizing risk and not asking the right questions."
