City of Vancouver struggles with shelter shortage as ‘Sound Wall’ encampment grows

Neighbors in a Vancouver neighborhood are fed up with a growing homeless encampment along Mill Plain known as the “Sound Wall.”
Neighbors say their yards on the other side of the wall have become hazardous with human feces, trash, and even prostitution happening right on their property.
According to the City of Vancouver officials, they are aware of the site, and is one of the largest in the city. But the issue is, there’s not enough shelter for people to be relocated to.
