YVYV: Meeting the new District 2 City Councilors – Elana Pirtle-Guiney, Dan Ryan, and Sameer Kanal

You just heard from a couple of the councilors from District One, now you’re about to meet the three representatives from District Two.

That district includes North Portland and much of Northeast.

Joining Steve Dunn is Elana Pirtle-Guiney, policy strategist and longtime union leader.

Also here are Sameer Kanal, a former city public safety and policy manager, and Dan Ryan a current Portland City Commissioner.

Congratulations to all three of you. Mayor-elect Keith Wilson is focusing on ending unsheltered homelessness in 12 months. His plan includes providing nighttime and day shelters.
