Intense Week Ahead. Rain and Snow

This week starts with the back half of a storm system passing through the area. Expect ample showers with close to a half inch of rainfall widespread. Keep an eye out for afternoon lightning. Winter storm watches are in for areas above 2000 feet. Avoid the passes where potentially 9 + inches of new snow will accumulate today.
