Lake Oswego man has advice to protect against ‘porch piracy’

On a recent chilly day in the Mountain Park area of Lake Oswego, Wayne Mercado was feeling especially cold after what happened on his front porch.

He shared video with us that showed someone wearing a parka sliding a package from the porch and driving off.

That package was a present for Mercado’s grandson, whose birthday was the next day.
