"Drier" day for Friday, but still the chance of a shower or two with chilly high temperatures in the 40s-50s and sunbreaks by mid-morning.
Low pressure is still hanging on, producing popcorn showers, but far less activity Friday as drier air starts to inundate Oregon. No completely dry hence the chance of a few showers in the afternoon.
Saturday will be significantly wet by the second-half of the day. Showers approach the coast as early as mid-morning, but most of the steadier rain will settle in by Saturday night and pretty much all-day Sunday.
There’s the potential of up to 2 inches of rain, again, as another ‘Atmospheric River’ aims itself at the Northwest. Temps will dramatically warm into Sunday, rising snow levels. However, have no fear, snow levels will plummet again by midday Sumday and this time to as low as 3000-feet of elevation. Above 4000-feet, up to 18 inches of snow is possible through Monday.
Any hopes for drier days are closing, Friday and Tuesday of next week is the best bet. Stay tuned.
