PBOT to begin towing vehicles without VIN or license plates displayed

Starting tomorrow if your vehicle doesn’t have at least one license plate or VIN displayed the city of Portland could tow you from public spaces.
The Portland Bureau of Transportation announced it will start enforcing an ordinance the city passed in August that allows no notice towing for vehicles that fail to display at least one of those identification methods.
