Bribes-for badges trial: Culpeper ex-sheriff to face jury | NBC4 Washington

Former Culpeper County Sheriff Scott Jenkins is set to go to trial as federal prosecutors say he took over $70,000 in a bribes-for-badges scheme. He allegedly claimed the auxiliary deputy badges would allow buyers to carry concealed weapons in all 50 states. News4’s Ted Oberg explains newly discovered allegations.
