Grandmother and granddaughter killed in Indian River County home invasion, family says

The Indian River County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a home invasion that claimed the lives of two people early Sunday morning. It occurred at about 3:45 a.m. in the Vero Beach Highlands neighborhood in the 600 block of 23rd Place Southwest.
