Fog rolls in again Friday morning, sun returns in the afternoon with clouds, but not rain-producing ones. That holds off to Monday.
Cold air pools in the valley tonight allowing temps to drop to 35-37 degrees and fog to develop. Mainly clear night for foothills and Oregon Coast and into Friday morning.
Friday afternoon, wispy clouds increase ahead of changes for the weekend. It will appear sunny, but the sky will be a bit muted and white. A very active pattern appears to hold off until Monday now with mostly dry, but cloudy and cool this weekend. There is the **chance** of a few showers toward Saturday and Sunday, but more dry than wet.
Sudden rain chances are all because of a shift in the upper-atmosphere pattern. We’re switching from high pressure on Wednesday to multiple areas of low pressure next week. This will not only bring multiple rounds of rain, but also significantly drop afternoon temperatures next week with mountain snow ramping up as early as Monday. About a foot of snow possible at pass-level (5000-feet) on Monday.
