Shaniko Wool featured in U.S. Olympic Opening Ceremony uniforms

A little piece of Oregon will be on display at the Olympics in Paris. The Opening Ceremony blazers for the U.S. Team will feature Shaniko Wool.
The company started in Shaniko, about 80 miles northeast of Bend.
It’s had a long history of working with Ralph Lauren for the Winter Opening Ceremony and, now, the Summer Games Opening Ceremony.
