How Trump rally shooting, assassination attempt unfolded

While officials have identified the gunman responsible for the deadly shooting of a rally attendee and assassination attempt on Former President Donald Trump Saturday evening, the investigation into what led up to the shooting in Butler, Pennsylvania is only beginning.

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro has identified the man who was killed as 50-year-old Corey Comperatore, who served as the fire chief for Buffalo Township in Pennsylvania. Two others were injured in the shooting, the Secret Service reports.

The FBI identified the suspected gunman as 20-year-old Thomas Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
