Weekend Morning News: How to help some Lake and Cook county students receive their scholarship money

After a scholarship program impacting over 500 Chicagoland students was shut down in July, communities in Lake and Cook counties have stepped up to raise more than $1 million in a month to help those students get the scholarship money they were supposed to have. But they still need more to fill the gap. Dr. Michael Karner, Lake County Regional Superintendent, and Joel Finfer, Lake County Regional Office of Education Foundation, joined Jewell Hillery on Sunday’s WGN Weekend Morning News to talk about their efforts and how you can help.
