Open House: Maintaining historic windows with Vancouver’s Historic Trust

Now I’m headed north across the Columbia River to Fort Vancouver, maintained by The Historic Trust. With the slogan “celebrating history, inspiring tomorrow” they act as stewards of the site to ensure it can be shared with the public, and as with Pittock Mansion are no strangers to all the work it takes to preserve them, including costly period-correct window restoration.
